NEW Pat McGrath LUST Gloss Launch: Swatch & Review

The newest product from legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath’s makeup line, Pat McGrath Labs, is finally here, and it’ll satisfy any lip gloss lover’s dreams.  I’ve been ready for the matte lip trend to go away and glossy lips to come back, and I’m so thrilled that these glosses are now here.

I received three of these shades from the Pat McGrath team, and have to say I’m in love.

The below picture was taken from my Instagram account: @u.glow.girl

The shade names are (right to left) Dare to Bare, Pale Fire Nectar, Divine Rose 🌹

The new LUST gloss collection features an array of pinks, reds, peaches, and nudes along with transparent shimmery shades to layer for whatever makeup look you are going for. The formula is unlike other formulas that I have tried as it’s long-lasting and non-sticky.  In fact, I put on the glosses and then ate breakfast and I still had glossy lips.  To top it off the glossy finish will leave your lips feeling hydrated for hours on end. I’m truly shocked at how long lasting this gloss is, because I’m used to having to reapply every hour or so.

The applicator allows precise precision for the lip gloss because of it’s tapered end, making it easy to get the lip gloss exactly where you want it.  This revolutionary formula is reminiscent of a balm-gloss hybrid, making it shiny but not sticky, I have had no issues with my hair getting caught in the gloss on my lips (which has been a huge problem for me in the past).

The collection is comprised of 14 sheer shades, ranging from transparent glitters and iridescent peach to soft nudes, pinks, and, of course, a classic red.

The LUST gloss collection launches May 10 at and will hit and select Sephora locations on May 17. Single glosses cost $28, four-shade kits for $95, and the entire set for $325.
