Have you heard about the new Matte & Metal Melted Shadows from Huda Beauty? They are double tip liquid eye shadows with one side matte, and the other side shimmer/metallic. It’s almost impossible to release a completely unique cosmetic idea these days. There’s already eye shadows in all colors of the rainbow in all finishes (mattes, metallics, shimmers and glitters), and the same goes for lips. However, Huda Beauty always finds a way to change the game a little bit and add something different. For example, putting a concealer in her Nude nudes palette was something different and new that other comparable brands haven’t done.
In this case, she created a “two in one” product that is so easy to use and travel with, that helps you do your makeup quickly, whether you’re traveling, going to brunch, or going to spend a night out with your friends. Plus, it’s waterproof and smudge proof.
First Impressions- Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Melted Shadows:
The dual-ended liquid eye shadow has two unique formulas. On one side, you’ll find a pigmented, velvety matte shade. Then, when you flip it over, there’s a super metallic and glittery formula that can be worn layered or on its own. The formula build-able and blend-able. Plus, it’s totally smudge-proof, wear-proof, and even waterproof. Don’t believe me, see for yourself in the video below.
When I wiped the shades after with a towel, the metallic shades did rub off, but the matte shades didn’t budge. I tried wiping them off of my arm with soap and water and that didn’t work. I had to use makeup remover to finally get them off of my arm.
Also, Huda, if you’re somehow reading this, I’d really like to see all of these matte shades in lipsticks! They’re the perfect shades. I’m actually going to research if they are safe to use on the lips because I love the colors so much.
